Movie Express (26/01/12)

For the first show of 2012 Conor claimed the lateness of the date in January was to avoid wishing anyone a Happy New Year. He and Luke went on a rambling journey from Mildred Pierce to Skyfall to Netflix to some concerns about a Steve McQueen impostor and finally to another Movie Express Hypothetical Movie Pitch. (For those curious, it involves The Hellfire Club and has an extremely catchy title but we really can’t say more here. Listen to find out more)

Movie Express (21/11/11)

This week Conor and Luke got Western. First was Seraphim Falls, criminally overlooked chase/revenge western ranging from snowy mountains to the desert. Canadian season continues with Gunless, similarly overlooked and very funny comedy western which itself ranges into interesting territory – Canada. Table Time is yet another journey, this time into Skyrim.

Movie Express (13/11/11)

Conor and Luke were still coasting from the 11/11/11 rush and discussed Spinal Tap without even mentioning its elevenness. Conor was pleasantly surprised to find Mean Streets didn’t bum him out and for Table Time Luke was enjoying Uncharted and Conor had been reading an actual book. Highlights this week include Luke’s self-described ‘old man voice’, disappointments include a failure to tie the show to Kenny Loggins this week.
